Salem Community College Announces Angel Rodriguez as New Assistant Athletic Director
Carneys Point, NJ. - Salem Community College is proud to announce Angel Rodriguez as the College's new Assistant Athletic Director. Rodriguez will continue supporting the growth and success of the Mighty Oaks athletic programs while helping enhance the student-athlete experience.
Rodriguez has been an integral part of Salem Community College and brings a strong background in student-athlete development, recruiting, operations, and academics. His passion for higher education and athletics, combined with his commitment to student success, made him a strong choice for the position.
"I would like to thank Athletic Director Bob Hughes and the entire search committee for believing in me and giving me this opportunity," said Rodriguez. "I'm incredibly excited to continue serving Salem Community College in this new role and to help build on the momentum of our athletic department."
Rodriguez also credited his current supervisor, Laura Green, for her mentorship and support throughout his professional journey.
As Assistant Athletic Director, Rodriguez will assist with athletic operations, student-athlete support initiatives, game management, communications and departmental development while continuing to promote the mission and values of Salem Community College.
